Climate Solution: Pay True Cost of Fossil Fuels, NASA Scientist Says

Saturday 13 October 2012 at 10:22 am

prominent james hansen, nasa, is a known activist.  as head of nasa he should back off.  he is known to have published two global warming reports that compared incomparable months to make his case.

of course, he is headlined in the nytimes; and when called on his error, an errata is issued months later in the middle pages.

as a scientist, hansen knows that there are no peer reviewed articles supporting global warming theory.  there are now a dozen peer reviewed articles that proved anthropogenic global warming is not true, and two of such article, all contained in this blog, will earn a nobel prize, when the politically correct nobel committee gets off its ass.

of course we have had methane traces back 2000 years;  when we started heading cows;  not carbon, but cows

LaMalfa's Comments

Sunday 16 September 2012 at 08:51 am

This is a very intereting article on global warming by a whacko.  he is critical of LaMalfa's comments because he claims scientific consensus on the issue favors man made global warming.

At the end of the article he lists 20 scientific organizations that endorse anthropogenic (man made) global warming.  But these are political organizations (or lobbying orgaizations) that depend almost entirely on government grants, primary from the democrats.

These lobbying organizations claim that represent the view of their constituency, which is simply not the case.

abuse of power.

Purdue scientists propose to curtail anthropogenic global warming by manufacturing snow in Antarctica

Tuesday 04 September 2012 at 9:05 pm

this has to be the silliest notion i have heard in a long time.

nobody told these silly scientists that the CO2 have decreased  by more than 20% because of private sector initiatives with natural gas replacing oil consumption.

CO2 levels are now lower than 20 years ago.

Man-made global warming can't be proven

GLOBAL WARMING - NOBEL LAUREATE BLAMES ANTHROPOGENICS

Global Warming: Nobel Prize-Winner Mario Molina Links Recent Extreme Weather With Man-Made Climate Change

I LOVE ARTICLEs LIKE THIS.  THIS NOBEL CHEMIST ACTIVIST STATES BELOW:  "They are now more clearly connected to human activities, such as the release of carbon dioxide ― the main greenhouse gas ― from burning coal and other fossil fuels."

HE DOES NOT KNOW THAT co2 levels are lower today than 20 years ago.  Nor does he cite any scientific finding to support his claim.  typical bullshit.

Ancient Tech Helped People Survive Global Warming

Friday 17 August 2012 at 07:17 am

NOTE THE LEAD OFF SENTENCE:  "FIRST HUMAN-CAUSED GLOBQAL WARMING EVENT."  JUST ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF A DOPEY JOURNALIST, WHO HAS TO WRITE A PAPER ON A SUBJECT HE KNOWS LITTLE ABOUT.

MOST AGW ACTIVISTs WILL NOT ADMIT TO THE CYCLICAL EFFECTS OF GLOBAL WARMING/COOLING.  TWO RECENT STUDIES, BOTH PEER REVIEWED, BOTH LIKELY TO RECEIVE NOBEL PRIZES IF THE POLITICS DO NOT GET IN THE WAY; BOTH REVEAL THAT THE VARIABILITY OF THE SUN IS THE PRINCIPLE OVERARCHING CAUSE OF GLOBAL WARMING/COOLING.

While people today are living through the first human-caused global warming event, we aren’t the first to ever live through climate change. For example, between the years 800 and 1400, the world was about 0.2 degrees Fahrenheit (0.1 degrees Celsius) warmer than the average for that millennium.

CO2 emissions unexpectedly decrease

Thursday 16 August 2012 at 8:47 pm

This is so paradoxical.  Everyone, liberals and skeptics agree that CO2 levels have been increasing.  The disagreemnet is whether increased CO2 traps heat.  Liberals concude that increased levels of CO2 causes global warming. But no peer reveiwed studies confirm this allegation.   In 2011 a peer reviewed study did show that greenhouse gases and heat dissipates much more rapidly than the IPCC model predicts.

But alas;  CO2 levels released in the atmosphere are now decreasing to pre-1993 levels:  Joy, joy, joy.  What will the environmental liberal whackos say now.

PITTSBURGH — In a surprising turnaround, the amount of carbon dioxide being released into the atmosphere in the U.S. has fallen dramatically to its lowest level in 20 years, and government officials say the biggest reason is that cheap and plentiful natural gas has led many power plant operators to switch from dirtier-burning coal.

Many of the world's leading climate scientists didn't see the drop coming, in large part because it happened as a result of market forces rather than direct government action against carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas that traps heat in the atmosphere.
