Global Warming: Nobel Prize-Winner Mario Molina Links Recent Extreme Weather With Man-Made Climate Change

I LOVE ARTICLEs LIKE THIS.  THIS NOBEL CHEMIST ACTIVIST STATES BELOW:  "They are now more clearly connected to human activities, such as the release of carbon dioxide ― the main greenhouse gas ― from burning coal and other fossil fuels."

HE DOES NOT KNOW THAT co2 levels are lower today than 20 years ago.  Nor does he cite any scientific finding to support his claim.  typical bullshit.

Ancient Tech Helped People Survive Global Warming

Friday 17 August 2012 at 07:17 am

NOTE THE LEAD OFF SENTENCE:  "FIRST HUMAN-CAUSED GLOBQAL WARMING EVENT."  JUST ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF A DOPEY JOURNALIST, WHO HAS TO WRITE A PAPER ON A SUBJECT HE KNOWS LITTLE ABOUT.

MOST AGW ACTIVISTs WILL NOT ADMIT TO THE CYCLICAL EFFECTS OF GLOBAL WARMING/COOLING.  TWO RECENT STUDIES, BOTH PEER REVIEWED, BOTH LIKELY TO RECEIVE NOBEL PRIZES IF THE POLITICS DO NOT GET IN THE WAY; BOTH REVEAL THAT THE VARIABILITY OF THE SUN IS THE PRINCIPLE OVERARCHING CAUSE OF GLOBAL WARMING/COOLING.

While people today are living through the first human-caused global warming event, we aren’t the first to ever live through climate change. For example, between the years 800 and 1400, the world was about 0.2 degrees Fahrenheit (0.1 degrees Celsius) warmer than the average for that millennium.

CO2 emissions unexpectedly decrease

Thursday 16 August 2012 at 8:47 pm

This is so paradoxical.  Everyone, liberals and skeptics agree that CO2 levels have been increasing.  The disagreemnet is whether increased CO2 traps heat.  Liberals concude that increased levels of CO2 causes global warming. But no peer reveiwed studies confirm this allegation.   In 2011 a peer reviewed study did show that greenhouse gases and heat dissipates much more rapidly than the IPCC model predicts.

But alas;  CO2 levels released in the atmosphere are now decreasing to pre-1993 levels:  Joy, joy, joy.  What will the environmental liberal whackos say now.

PITTSBURGH — In a surprising turnaround, the amount of carbon dioxide being released into the atmosphere in the U.S. has fallen dramatically to its lowest level in 20 years, and government officials say the biggest reason is that cheap and plentiful natural gas has led many power plant operators to switch from dirtier-burning coal.

Many of the world's leading climate scientists didn't see the drop coming, in large part because it happened as a result of market forces rather than direct government action against carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas that traps heat in the atmosphere.

Activist James Hansen attempts to link global warming to extreme heat waves

Tuesday 07 August 2012 at 08:53 am

Hansen has several times published a HEADLINE with faulty data.  He gets the big headline, usually in the nytimes, and then later corrects the data finding which is burried in the back pages.  A nasty guy.  He uses his title with NASA to gain credibility.

Hansen is employed by NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies, and in the past few years has been arrested for his activist actions to attenuate the theoretical effects of man-made climate change. Dr. Stott did caution Hansen not to link specific heat-wave events to man-made global warming. "…we cannot say that the chances of such heat waves were negligible before global warming set in…"

Take the time to read how Hansen distorted the numbers and the words with the numbers.

NASA: scorching heat is anthropogenic

Sunday 05 August 2012 at 08:04 am

The head of NASA, James Hansen is a global warming activist and very partial.  He believes that POTUS should take unilateral action to combat anthropogenic warming.

Here are the problems with Hansen.  He is head of NASA, but not representative of the scientists at NASA.

He routinely publishes false data that get headlines, particularly in the NYTimes.

The he retracts the data as a administrative mistake.

I have a number of examples of this on this website.  pity he is a bigot.

RADICAL GREENS

Wednesday 01 August 2012 at 7:27 pm

In “Eco-Tyranny,” author Brian Sussman sounds a timely and important warning: The radical "greens" are not in retreat. With the defeat of cap-and-trade legislation in 2010 and the increasingly discredited alarmist theory of anthropogenic global warming, the greens may have lowered their public profile; however, with the full cooperation of the Obama administration, they are forging ahead with their illiberal agenda of gaining ever more control over the American economy and people
